Saddle Fitting
We provide a remote fitting service, working with you for pre-purchase inquiries, or when you've got your new saddle ready to go at home and need to get it set up for your horse.

All new saddles purchased (in stock, or made to order) include a fitting service for one horse. If you require fitting advice, please get in touch and we will advise what measurements and photos we need to get started, and advise any fees applicable if you are not a current customer but would like help fitting a second-hand or older Freeform saddle.

Freeform Saddles should always be paired with a treeless pad, we have a few options in our shop. A good treeless pad should create a spinal channel and have removable inserts for cleaning and adjustment/shimming.
Our saddles are flexible, include a wither cutback, well-placed girth billets and many saddle include multiple billet positions. Freeform treeless saddles feature an aluminium arch in the pommel which also aids wither clearance and keeps you sitting up in a balanced position, not falling forward. Freeform saddles can be placed further forward than a treed saddle, ideally you're going to be sitting where you would if you were riding bareback and with three base lengths, there's one to fit most horses and avoid any pressure beyond the 14th thoracic vertebrae.
The foam injection technology used in our saddles ensures they mould to your horse over time and continue to fit the horse as they change shape through age, work, and every season.
If you're in South Australia, Jenny can assist with some demo saddles and fitting in-person. If you're near Canberra or the New South Wales south coast, Vanessa is available to show you saddles in-person and assist with fitting.
